We live on a lifestyle block on State Highway 2 near the Firth of Thames.

We have lived here for the last 20 years with our 3 children and Dobermanns. Being within 1 hour of Auckland

 allows us to attend dog related activities at NZKC grounds at Ardmore where we can meet up with like-minded people.

We are both members of Dominion Dobermann Club.

We have had a love affair with Dobermanns ever since 1981 when we purchased our 1^st bitch. Her temperament,

 soundness and type were to help set the groundwork knowledge for the Bandido breeding programme.

We have always felt that a breeding programme should be a long term commitment and are continuously striving to improve our dogs

to fit the standard for the breed, while trying to preserve the contributions of the great ones which appear in their pedigrees.

Our breeding philosophy is to only breed the best, honestly evaluating the dam and finding the stud that will improve her.

 Our puppies are whelped in the spare bedroom and raised with lots and lots of love. We will not sell them to homes without

 complete fenced yards, nor to kennels or dealers, or to homes where they are left alone for more than four hours at a time.

We have strict buying policies, but then these dogs are like our children and we feel they must be raised and socialised properly.

Our dogs are our constant companions, sharing our bed, car and life.
